Create an Amendment establishing term limits for Senators and House Representatives

This is a petition to limit the number of terms a representative can serve in Congress. Congressional Representatives have disappointed us for the last time. We as a people are tired of representatives failing to take a stand for what is right, delaying policy decisions and side stepping issues for fear of getting reelected. With term limits, politicians are less likely to be focused on special interests and pork-barrel spending if they cannot stay in office indefinitely. Term limits would also lead to a Congress more in tune with needs of the people, since citizens would be more likely to serve. Most importantly, Politicians in their last term of office are more likely to ignore politics and media criticism to target what's best for the country. Sign this Petition for a sound America!
