Right now, many Americans are being forced to choose between two candidates they do not want because the two party system has hijacked the election process and shut out all other voices. This is tyranny, and it is not compatible with the values on which America was founded. Americans have both the right and the duty to hear the viewpoints of all qualifying parties before voting. The purpose of this petition is to call on Congress to act immediately via a constitutional amendment to ensure that the nominees of all qualifying parties receive equal representation in all national presidential debates and to prohibit any party or group of parties from unfairly and unjustly monopolizing the political process.
