The recent shuttering of megaupload by the US government, and the SOPA and PIPA act have shown the power of change that the internet presents. The internet is tied to every aspect of some people's lives and livelyhood from their job, to their entertainment, to their source of food and clothing.
Censoring the web violates our free speech, stifles creativity, and prevents job growth. Our country is struggling economically and the internet is our lifeline. We need to protect these freedoms in law that is very clear and hard to argue against.
