We are calling on the Obama administration to facilitate and support the creation of a government foundation much like the XPrize nonprofit foundation.
The American Innovators Prize, or US Prize, would offer prizes to innovators who can complete the competition's specified rules and tasks. This prize would present radical breakthroughs that directly benefit humanity. This would inspire the creation of new industries and would revitalize markets that may be stuck due to existing failures or a commonly held belief that a solution is not possible.
