We would like President Obama to listen to Harry Reid and Barney Frank and legalize online poker within the Budget Control Act of 2011. Those of us that signed this petition as well as millions of Americans that play poker regularly agree that poker should be viewed as a game of skill and grouped separately from games of chance such as roulette and slot machines.
As you are aware, without U.S. regulation, millions of Americans played online poker for years and the U.S. did not benefit from this unregulated practice. We would like to have the U.S. legalize and regulate online poker. There is great potential for the creation of well paying American jobs and a huge revenue source that will help meet the goal of your Budget Control Act of 2011. Thank you.
