US military personell suffered casualties in Defense of West Germany from May 9 1955 to Oct 2 1990. We suffered from terroist attacks, riots, encounters with Warsaw Pact forces and combat defensive menuevers. AP has this! KIA classified WIA classified POW/MIA classified! Why are we still being denied our recognition? The Korea Defense Service medal was created and awarded for the same exact service, and we served on the worlds most dangerous border ever! We are still being denied the medals we all EARNED! Mr.President act with equality. The defense of West Germany was in defense of the United States!
