create and enforce policies to aggressively reduce "too big to fail".

Created by R.C. on September 26, 2011

The banks and speculators brought our nation to the brink of disaster. We need our government to do several things to ensure the economy does not worsen:
Restore and regulate the division between commercial and investment banking (Glass-Steagle);
Prevent complex financial instruments such as Credit Default Swaps;
Actively reduce and regulate monopolies;
Bring banks into smaller and more distributed entities;
Require significant increases in capitalization for speculators;
Support underwater homeowners before mortgage investors and servicers';
Tax hedge fund transactions;
Investigate and bring to justice those involved in bank fraud, pricing collusion and speculation causing the 2008 economic meltdown.
