Create and enforce regulations imposed that prevent Airlines from charging high and unnecessary rates for airfare.
With the price of oil being at record lows the price of fuel is also low. Airlines should have their prices for air travel reflect this but they don't in order to make a profit. Furthermore the traveler is also charged extra fees for baggage, as well as certain seats on the flight. This is highway robbery and consumers have no other option than to accept the prices and pay the higher amount. Regulations need to be set that protect the consumer from airlines that charge a higher than normal fee based off the prices of fuel and the cost of living.
