Create and enforce a transparency policy when dealing with military spending.

If the United States was to stop spending money on advancing its combative might, it is my belief that every American citizen would be in danger. At the same time, the military’s budget is incredibly wasteful. If funds are not being spent intelligently or are not being spent on relevant things at all, it weakens the US and opens the country up for criticism. Having military expenditures willingly disclosed to the public would be a worthwhile commitment the government should make. This extra scrutiny serves as incentive to spend money on actual militant advancements and also inhibits potential corruption.
