Create and establish a way for American citizens to see/monitor our government officials i.e. a Council of The People.

Created by S.L. on November 19, 2011

We the People need a way to monitor and see what our elected officials are doing once they have entered the office. A Council of the People would be a department of everyday American citizens who see what bills are being submitted, listen to house and senate meetings, and above all inform the American people of what our government is proposing/debating so we can have a voice on how WE the people feel. A democracy is a system of government by the WHOLE population. We the people rarely know of what is being passed or failed within our government. With a Council of the People we can gain our voice within the government and inform the public of what our government is doing. The people can then contact our elected officials to let them know how they feel about what they are doing.
