Create and implement a "One Subject at a Time Act" (OSTA) implementing new legislature.

Created by J.S. on January 01, 2012

Congress routinely passes unpopular laws. How? They combine them with unrelated bills that are sure to pass. The "One Subject at a Time Act" (OSTA) would prevent this.

OSTA would prevent such outrages by requiring that:
1. Each bill must be about one subject only.
2. Legislation passed in violation of this requirement will be considered null-and-void by the courts.
3. Make bills shorter, and easier to understand.
4.Replace propagandistic titles with descriptive names.
5. Require that all new laws are favored by a real Congressional majority.
6. Render bills that violate these requirements unenforceable.
