In recent years, television companies such as Discovery and National Geographic have provided television viewers with "reality" series that portray more exciting and sensational situations. Many if these programs, are excellent entrainment and provide enlightening insight to things the public does not get to see all that often.
But there is another side to these programs. Discovery runs a show called Street Outlaws. Street Outlaws pretends ro depict individuals who participate in illegal street drag races. Drag racing is a dangerous sport, this past week 2 bystanders who were observin a race were killed by a driver for the show when he lost control. Televising these events condones them and encourages veiwers to take part in them
It is unacceptable.
