The recent election results have shown that established politicians of both parties have clear advantages in elections because of having big money on their side, so they can run as many times as they want and usually win the general election without and primary battle.
This has to end; that is why I propose to you Mr. President that an amendment should be added to the United States constitution, one that would put term limits on the Members of both houses of congress. And the length of their service is simple.
House of Representative: 6 two year terms.
Senate: 2 6 year terms.
It is clear that congress is broken and dysfunctional and will need lots of reforming, this is a good start to reforming it.
