A student should not lose their fundamental 2nd amendment right to bear arms when they step onto a college campus.
Colleges say that they pick the "best and brightest" when they select students. Then they turn around and say that they are all "reckless individuals" who do nothing but "smoke, drink, and engage in other dangerous activities that should be mixed with firearms." This hypocritical philosophy that grown mature adults are not entitled to defend themselves and their homes is absurd.
Support having strong background checks on the individuals that also include mental health evaluations; as well as firearms training testing required in order to obtain a permit.
Please, if you support the right of students to carry firearms on campus IF THEY HAVE A PERMIT TO DO SO, sign this.
