create and sign an Executive Order labeling dangerous strains of Salmonella, such as Heidelberg, as an adulterant.

Created by J.N. on May 12, 2015

Salmonella is a dangerous pathogen and has caused many illnesses resulting in death. Current law does not do enough to protect consumers from the danger salmonella presents. By labeling salmonella as an adulterant, enforcement agencies would have the authority to quickly issue recalls in the event dangerous strains of salmonella are detected in food products.
