Create another CCC to help rebuild our great country AND allow volunteers to reduce student loans and lower interest.

America has way too many college educated folks living at home with large student loan balances and the highest interest rates in history. The original Civilian Conservation Corps did wonders for our nation by rebuilding our infrastructure and teaching individuals new job skills, teamwork and national and personal pride. I believe the time has come for a new CCC in which people can volunteer in the summer or any time of year to rebuild our country, while having Federal Debt eliminated and have interest reduced. In my opinion, you would have an overwhelming response for volunteers because many college grads like myself are finding career jobs very difficult to come by, while compound interest builds up. Congress and Senate did nothing but raise interest rates, a new CCC is the answer!!!
