Create an article in the Uniformed Code of Military Justice with states United State military service members are obligated to refuse orders which violate human dignity or are in serious violation of international humanitarian law.
The addition of this article would hold United States military members accountable for any and all violations of human dignity and/or humanitarian law, while also making their ability to refuse such orders more obvious. This will hold our military service members to an even higher standard for upholding human rights and displaying the positive intent of the United States of America.
