We are a nation defined by a love of country. We are members of a grand national family, with the capacity to put the needs of the whole before the needs of the individual, should we be reminded of how familial we truly are. The events that follow an attack from an external source, upon our soil or upon our citizens, unites us in solidarity.
Gone may be the days when we were directly asked what "we can do for our country," but the sentiment is not dead; and we firmly believe that the citizens of the United States of America can rally and rush to her aid when she is in need.
That time is now. Our beloved nation is in need. We, from individuals to corporations, from the most impoverished widow to the wealthiest businessman, need an wide channel to contribute directly to a solution.
