Create a balance budget amendment to the constitution and make it mandatory that a complete budget is passed every year.

The federal government has been operating in the red ever since the Clinton years. As a country we cannot continue to be the beacon of freedom to the rest of the world by throwing our future down the black pit of debt. Our Government has refused to pass a budget the last 3 years. And the prospects for one any time soon is not looking good. Our elected officials should be ashamed of themselves. They should also start at zero when constructing a new budget instead of having automatic increases added in.
