I'm petitioning to create better road maintenance! In today's time, travel is a huge part of everything. It grows our economy, increased tourism, and helps people visit family. Without the proper conditions of the roads, people will not be able to do these things efficiently. People would spend unnecessary money on gas to take detours when the government should have realized the problems with the roads in the first place. Also, people will spend unnecessary money on accidents that could have been prevented if the road’s conditions were up a certain standard. At a person’s house, the sidewalk is their responsibility for taking care of, shoveling, etc. Likewise, the streets are the government's responsibility and need to be taken accountable for if not up to our standards.
