Create a better way to manage sex offenders nation-wide, without the use of residency restrictions.

Created by J.P. on June 16, 2012

The current sex offender laws require offenders (regardless of the degree of the offence) to find a residence that maintains a certain distance from public places. Many states, if not all also restrict an offender's access to public places (such as libraries). There are laws in place against discrimination in forms such as sexual orientation, religion, race, creed, and color. The Obama Administration should try to create a more productive (instead of the current counter-productive) way of managing people with such offenses. Please sign this petition if you have been effected by the sex offender laws in any way and you find them to be counter productive.
