Create a bill to create a national aquaduct system running east to west with large resiviours placed in key locations.

My petition is to create a national aquaduct system (NAS). This would stretch east to west and would harvest flood waters and distribute water to drought stricken areas. This system would also include large water retention resivours, strtegically placed, for stirage of large amounts of water. This petition would create thousands of jobs the construction, engineering, techincal arenas and woulf bennefit all states by providing an edless supply of water for livestock and agriculture. Each state woulld also participate in maintaining the system and water availability through funneling excessive water run off into the NAS. It worked for the Romans, so there is no doubt is will work for the USA. Water is a precious resource and if this were in place the farm belt would not be suffering
