In the world of EMS, we don't get paid enough for what we do. Us EMT's and Paramedics risk our lives every day on an ambulance serving our communities trying to save people's lives. We can easily catch a blood borne disease like HIV or Hepatitis or something even worse. EMT's should be mandated to receive at least $15/hour, and Paramedics should receive at least $20/hour for the dangers we put ourselves in trying to help sick and injured people in our communities.
