Our administration should create a bill that will elminate foreclosure or harassment to senior citizens over the age of 90 that has occupied their home greater than 15 consecutive years. Regulations should be put in place with the financial institutions to counsel, modify and or forgive the loan in extreme situations.
Recently, an Atlanta woman who is 3 wks shy of her 104th birthday received an eviction notice; the ATL Sheriff's department was prepared to remove all of her belongs from what she refers as her "manison", a modest home she has occupied of more than one half of a century.
Her live-in daughter who is in her mid-eighties was so distraught she had to be hospitialized.
Senior citizens want to enjoy the rest of their lives in peace.
This is freedom they deserve!
We Can!
