We urge the Obama administration to create a bill / law requiring high income retailers to include a colorful flag of origin next to the barcode on price tags.
The existing 84 year old law requires manufacturers to mark certain product packaging with the country of origin. The time consuming search for this marking is not convenient for today's shoppers.
By including a colorful flag of origin next to the barcode on price tags, consumers will clearly see where a product is made. This clear display of where a product is made will make products made in the USA stand out, increase the sales of American made products, and improve our economy.
