Every year there are around 10,000 gun related deaths in the United States. Statistics say there are approximately 300,000,000 guns in the country as well. The death/injury toll by guns in this country is no coincidence. There are far too many guns in this country.
The vast majority of Americans, including gun owners and NRA members believe there should be strict gun laws in the United States, among them being a ban on assault weapons and high round magazines. Personally I believe handguns also post a high risk threat, because the majority of crimes committed by guns are handguns.
We can still have hunting and sport with guns if we are limited to only single shot rifles and shotguns. Handguns rarely are used for hunting are are not needed by civilians. Only military/police should carry
