Create a cabinet Department of Culture and the Arts

A Department of Culture and the Arts responsible for a national cultural policy in preserving, protecting and promoting American cultural heritage, archives, collections and artistic productions. The department would play a key role promoting and supporting cultural activities and access to the arts in the United States and abroad.
With broad responsibilities overseeing cultural policy and engaging in the arts, the department of culture would provide the impetus for the creation and consumptions of artistic experiences of a vibrant sustainable arts that benefit and enrich the entire American community.
Just as the Department of Commerce promote business and economics, the Department of Culture would equally promote culture and arts.
