Technology in the United States has remained in flux betwen different Government roles for far too long. Create a Cabinet role to handle Technology issues, which would include, but not limited to, the Internet, government intelligence-gathering methods over the Internet including, but not limited to, malware and spyware, creating an economy that fosters technological innovation, control of the legality of software patents, and the regulation of working conditions in technological fields. Essentially, this position could have a hand in all things related to Technology and the innovation of Tech.This Cabinet position shall be filled by someone who is technologically motivated and in-touch, as to bridge the gap between Government Officials who were Pre-Internet and new technological advances.
