We the People Petition the Obama Administration to impose a Carbon Tax on all industry to curb heavy pollution. Also prompt states and private companies, and if need be allot a segment of the federal budget, to building flood defenses in vulnerable places such as New York's Rockaway Peninsula, and all of the city of New Orleans. As sea levels rise, make plans to gradually evacuate indefensible places such as Miami, and possibly New Orleans. Washington DC itself will come under threat if nothing is done.
