create a centralized Pentagon budgeting / provisioning process to improve auditing of Defense contractors and spending.

Created by E.K. on April 11, 2016

The Pentagon has been notoriously incapable of auditing itself. Cost overruns in the billions are routine now and there is bipartisan support for curtailing of waste, fraud and abuse.

The efforts of the Obama administration to modernize the computing infrastructure of the US government should be extended to helping manage budgets - particularly the Pentagon Budgets.

Computer Databases with Budgetary accountability could be implemented to track progress on projects and to monitor expenditures.

Currently the Pentagon has indicated it is unable to audit itself... in some ways it is too big to manage. We may have lost Billions to waste, fraud and abuse.

To prevent more waste, fraud & abuse in the future we need a modern centralized computer database which can manage, track and monitor.
