Create or modify laws and regulations related to those who can receive governmental benefits, housing, and employment within the United States to include a proof of citizenship. As taxpayers we believe that the money that we pay into governmental programs should benefit those who are here legally and not reward those who have circumvented the process of naturalization. Anyone who crosses the border knowingly, willingly, and without regards to our nation's laws prohibiting such acts should not be allowed to benefit from their actions. By creating proof a citizenship program it will detour people entering the country illegally because they would no longer be able to work, rent/own residential property, or receive governmental benefits without proof of citizenship.
