Create a commission that investigates and publicizes assets and holdings of publicly elected officials

In the words of Henry Clay: Government is a trust, and the officers of the government are trustees; and both the trust and the trustees are created for the benefit of the people. This commissions mandate is to investigate elected officials to determine if any of their net assets are a result of improper gains due to decisions that they have made in the course of their elected term(s). In short, have decisions that elected officials (or their offices) made resulted in personal gains of any type and be subject to monitoring for a period of no less than 5 years after their term has ended or been terminated.
