We have seen many mass murders at the hands of psychotics with automatic weapons. There is always an outcry after the event and there is talk about gun control and gun rights. The bottom line is nothing gets done. Gun control in its current form does not work and the statistics bear that out. Allowing people to have high capacity automatic weapons without having to register and be accountable for them doesn't work either. Let's get the state and federal officials to work together to solve this problem before this issue becomes personalized for more Americans. There has to be a middle ground and we need a solution that is practical and works as opposed to ideology. The status quo on this subject is UNACCEPTABLE.
