Create a committee to investigate Rep. Eric Cantor for statements made to Prime Minister Netanyahu which may violate the Logan Act. The Logan Act makes it a felony "for any American 'without authority of the United States' to communicate with a foreign government to influence that government's behavior on any disputes with the United States."
As House Majority Leader he has a heightened responsibility to conduct himself in a lawful way and this possibly felonious act needs to be addressed.
When Speaker Pelosi went to meet with the leader of Syria a few years ago under the Bush Administration, Cantor actually accused Pelosi of a felony under the Logan Act. which proves that he is familar with this act and his responsibility to maintain US solidarity.
