Create Community Service Officers to assist and augment Law Enforcement Officers, so as to better serve America.

Created by A.F. on March 23, 2015

A Community Service Officer's training would focus on deescalation, civil issues, non or less violent crimes and other lesser crimes. A Community Service Officer would also have standard officer training, however the position would only be open to persons with an even or calm temperament. A Community Service Officer would accompany and back up a Law Enforcement Officer on cases not specifically under the training of a Community Service Officer. This would expand the capabilities of all Officer pairs in the field, as well as help keep citizens and Officers safe. A situation calmed by a Community Service Officer would be more likely resolved without injury or even raised voices, in addition an Officer who always has back up is under less threat.
