Acknowledging the history of the Confederate flag as representative of the South's past, but not the present or future - we petition the Federal government to create a program which allows any individual, party, company, or group in former Confederate states to trade in the Battle Flag for the superior and aesthetically pleasing Texas State Flag.
Trading up their flag would clearly be an exercise in maximizing their freedom, and likely improve local State economies as well.
