Create a constitutional amendment guaranteeing American's a digital Bill of Rights.

Created by T.M. on November 20, 2012

In the internet we have created an unprecedented network that allows us to share knowledge and ideas freely, and for us to do business both personal and private from almost anywhere. As the internet becomes more and more ubiquitous the need for a constitutional amendment to protect the rights and freedoms of American's in this digital space becomes self evident. I propose a Digital Bill of Rights in which three primary protections should be granted.

A) Freedom of Religion, Press, Expression should explicitly be protected online.

B) Guarantee American's rights to internet access.

C) Digital documentation needs the same protections offered by the fourth amendment.

The world is evolving, and there comes a time when the constitution needs to evolve to continue to protect its citizens.
