Create a constitutional right equal to the right to bear arms that ensures the right to be free from gun violence.

Citizens need to have a constitutional right to be free from gun violence. This right should be protected as a right as strongly as the right under the second amendment to keep and bear arms. This will restore the rightful balance of personal defense freedoms with the right to live in safety without the need for weapons, free from threats from guns, whether such threats come from criminals, terrorists and militias.
