A device should be enacted that would allow the American voting population to place a 'vote of no confidence' on elected officials having served in office at least two years.
Current term limits are four years with staggered voting every two years for most positions and in some ways this is choking the very essence of progress and has left representation derelict.
Representatives are designed by the law to be of certain ratio to reflect the populace, but they have a national effect as well, and as result many Americans suffer inadvertent consequences.
My suggestion, after having served two years in any elected congressional position, holding a four year term, a nationwide petition that garners signatures equal to, or above 50% the representatives state population, should face this vote.
