Created by A.S. on October 16, 2014

Create a Corps of Retired Professional Registered Nurse attached to National Guard trained to respond to any national or Statewide health crisis. There is a nursing shortage in this country. There are thousands of "baby boomer" RN's with 30 or more years of nursing expertise retired but still able to perform training and or clinical practice. As part of the National Guard these nurse can serve our country and gain military retirement benefits. These nurses after training by USAMRID or CDC can be sent to train healthcare personnel in local hospitals our to staff regional hospitals designated to handle a national healthcare crisis.
