Require all state, county, and local law enforcement officers to wear a camera. Purpose: Prevent law enforcement officers from being wrongly accused of improper behavior, provide vital evidence against criminals who would do these brave officers harm, and serve to ensure officers are held accountable for their actions should they behave in a manner not fitting of their uniform which will help bring peace of mind to concerned citizens.
Name the law after Officer Darren Wilson, due to the suffering this man has endured after he was forced to use deadly force on a suspect – something no officer wishes to have happen. He has since been labeled as a villain, a cold-blooded murderer, and become the target out immense media and public outrage. All of this could have been prevented with a camera.
