In a world filled with cynacism and angst, we to need to create a day that reminds us that we are all passengers together on this revolving planet as a part of collective entity. We all breathe the same air, occupy the same space, and affect each others souls on daily basis. Such a day of celebration is meant to reconnect the spiritual bonds between each and everyone of us and enrich the human soul though acts of kindness, generosity, and perhaps even simple smile. I would like this day to be 2 days after the November national election day, when everyone needs such a reminder. We are not just Democrats and Republicans, we are Americans, and of course, humans. The day's greeting would merely be ... Peace, Love, and Happiness to you. Or, as previously mentioned, a simple smile.
