In the desperate times that we find ourselves, it is the government's right and responsibility to enact large-scale legislation that adequately begins to put a dent in the massive unemployment problem in this country. By implementing a Department of Jobs over the next twelve months and allocating funds to hire 1,500,000 Americans, each for a period of up to twelve months, consumer spending and confidence will be boosted while simultaneously providing hundreds of thousands of Americans with new skill-sets that will benefit them in their future careers.
