There has been cases, some recently, where many lives have been lost at the hands of mentally deranged individuals. These individuals target schools and other settings where firearms aren't allowed. Why? Because its natural for human beings to take the path of least resistance. If these criminals were to come face to face with an armed citizen, their rampage would end, in a number of different ways: By death, surrender or suicide. If teachers or faculty choose to carry a firearm, they should be allowed to with the support of the government. We need to improve security to our schools as well. Thru security personnel, increased training to faculty and by making classrooms completely secure from anyone during a "lockdown" situation. These are just a few of the improvements we can make
