The do-not-call registry has worked well to cut down on the number of unsolicited calls. However, we still receive ~3-5 unsolicited calls each day (and many more during election season): nonprofits seeking donations, companies doing (biased) "surveys", robocalls, and political ads. We try to hang up very quickly, but these unwanted interruptions are extremely annoying. We need to eliminate the exceptions to the do-not-call registry and make a way for us to not have our family time continually interrupted.
