The petition created serves the purpose of everyone becoming aware of how much well earned money is going to neighboring states to purchase lottery tickets. The neighboring states are receiving our money to send their children to school. Don't the children of Alabama deserve the same financial help for their education? By adding the education lottery, we would earn at least $250 million to create scholarships for our children.
