We want the Obama Administration to direct the U.S. military to form a special unit tasked with capturing or killing those responsible for using rape or sexual slavery as a tool of war or a strategy of governance. We believe this unit should be run and staffed by females to:
- send a message to our enemies that women will not tolerate such deplorable systemic subjugation;
- send a message to the victims that the women of the U.S. can, should and will do more to ensure their safety;
- diversify and augment the tactics and strategies already in place to bring those responsible for these crimes to justice; and
- give the women of the U.S. military a special forces unit that motivates each soldier to meet the highest standards of our armed forces;
