Provide a job to all licensed nurses that want a job to eliminate the shortages. Enforce policies that eliminates all the persecution that occurs by the state boards over practice issues unless felony occurred. Cases of practice issues all healthcare facilities will have to retrain their employees instead of firing them. The Nursing Boards should be free to create policies not police nurses. Hospitals spend millions recruiting these nurses then turn their backs on them to save themselves. These same facilities should have to spend millions to retain and retrain them. An open education ladder to advanced practice that is standard across all states that really trains nurses and not PROFITS off of them to provide more nurses.
