Obama's administration is founded on transparency in government. Unfortunately, there is no transparency in the government entitlement programs. Because there is no transparency, there is less accountability. Americans have a right to know exactly who is pulling money from these programs. The only way to do this is to create a public database of this information. This database needs to include names, addresses of people or companies, and amount received. Doing so would allow the American people to identify potential problems with the current system instead of relying on slow and ineffective government processes. Also, this idea empowers Americans to take action and make this country a better place to live by investing money where it's really needed.
