create an environment that betters the education of our children through shortening the school week

The current school weeks are five days long, and the vast majority of high school students can be classified as sleep deprived. Even on the weekends, children lack sleep and stressed by school. This has been known to cause ulcers, aggressive behavior, and a limited ability to learn. Our children are not learning due to this lack of sleep. A solution is to shorten the school weeks to four days, and shorten the summer to one month. This would allow our children to have the proper sleep that is required to learn.
As Americans, we have the obligation to create a better learning environment for our children, so America can carry on as the land of the free.
